Co budeš dělat
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining performance testing frameworks and automated test suites for complex distributed systems.
- Leading performance analysis efforts, identifying system bottlenecks, conducting root-cause analysis, and partnering with engineering teams on remediation.
- Developing realistic performance test scenarios based on production usage patterns, business requirements, and architectural constraints.
- Generating high-quality performance reports with actionable recommendations and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Establishing and enforcing performance standards, SLAs, and best practices across teams.
- Contributing to the design and enhancement of performance test frameworks, tools, and pipelines.
- Working with architects and engineers to define performance criteria, SLAs, and workload models.
- Participating in root-cause analysis for scalability and latency issues across distributed systems.
- Supporting integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and advocating for continuous performance validation.
- Assisting in preparing performance environments that mirror production conditions.
- Mentoring mid-level and junior engineers in using performance testing tools and interpreting results.
- Providing technical input for performance tuning related to application code, databases, APIs, infrastructure, and configurations.
Koho hledáme
- 5+ years of experience in performance testing or engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major performance testing tool (JMeter, Gatling, K6, Locust, LoadRunner, etc.).
- Solid programming or scripting skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, API performance, databases, caching, and networking fundamentals.
- Proven ability to analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
- Experience testing high-traffic or mission-critical applications.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate technical findings clearly.
