OHB Czechspace s.r.o. was established in 2017 and is part of the OHB SE technology group. As a member of one of the major independent groups in the European space industry, OHB Czechspace plays a significant role. With a young team of well-trained and highly skilled engineers, the company has proven its competence through contributions to several internationally recognized projects.
The main business activities of OHB Czechspace focus on the development, system integration, and supply of structural, thermal, and optical subsystems, payloads, MGSE, and launcher structures. These activities include structural and thermal analyses, mechanical and thermal design, mechanical testing, procurement, as well as quality and product assurance.
Since its establishment, OHB Czechspace has been involved in several key European Space Agency (ESA) programmes, such as the planetary defence missions HERA and RAMSES, the science and exploration missions PLATO and Comet Interceptor, and the space transportation mission NEP RocketRoll.

Co budeš dělat
- Overall responsibility for the timely, cost-efficient, and compliant execution of all procurement activities within projects, particularly for complex satellite communication ground segment equipment and subsystems
- Active participation in contract structuring and negotiations, including coordination of contract changes in collaboration with Project Controlling & Contracts
- Leading supplier management activities throughout the contract lifecycle, including conducting key supplier reviews
- Planning and leading supplier selection processes (RFP, evaluation, negotiation, tender evaluation), ensuring fair, transparent, and robust decision-making
- Definition of procurement strategies, request specifications, and selection criteria aligned with project and technical requirements
- Monitoring supplier performance regarding cost, quality, delivery timelines, and compliance with contractual and technical requirements
- Identifying risks and supporting project risk management, especially related to suppliers, including mitigation actions and follow-up
- Preparation, consolidation, and communication of procurement and supply status reports for internal stakeholders and customers
- Close collaboration with engineering and quality departments to ensure adherence to technical and quality standards
- Coordination and leadership of cross-functional teams and supplier selection committees
- Ensuring proper handling of export-controlled or sensitive items in line with compliance requirements
Koho hledáme
- Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in procurement, supplier/subcontractor management, or supply chain management, ideally in aerospace or satellite communications
- Strong experience in contract negotiations and project management
- Solid technical understanding with the ability to work closely with engineering teams
- Proven ability to lead complex supplier selection processes and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to make decisions, manage conflicts, and drive results in a dynamic environment
- Confident interaction with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- High level of motivation, ownership, and accountability
- Willingness to travel internationally
