- Lead & Inspire the Kitchen Team
- Support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service across all outlets
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate cooks and kitchen staff while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Step into a hands-on role during peak periods, preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes with precision
- Assist with menu development, seasonal concepts, and special event planning
- Ensure staffing levels, assignments, and workflow meet operational and financial objectives
- Maintain Culinary Excellence
- Oversee food handling, preparation, storage, and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Check quality and presentation of raw and cooked food, ensuring consistency with W Prague standards
- Prepare decorative food displays and ensure all dishes leave the kitchen as works of art
- Collaborate with Restaurant and Banquet teams to coordinate timing, service, and special requests
- Drive Operational Efficiency
- Assist in purchasing, inventory control, and storage of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs to ensure seamless operations
- Enforce loss prevention and compliance policies across the kitchen team
- Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
- Set a positive example for guest service, demonstrating professionalism and culinary excellence
- Handle guest concerns with tact and escalate when necessary
- Empower team members to provide outstanding service while maintaining W’s high standards
- Develop & Mentor Your Team
Koho hledáme
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen
- Previous experience in a high-volume, fine-dining, or luxury hotel kitchen
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, collaborative approach
- Solid understanding of food production, plating, storage, handling, and sanitation standards
- Passion for creativity, consistency, and guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
