As a Health & Safety Responsible, you will lead the Health & Safety agenda within the Sales Market, ensuring safe workplaces, legal compliance and strong preventive practices across stores, offices and operations. You will play a key role in embedding a strong safety culture by driving risk management, incident prevention and continuous improvement in line with global guidelines and local regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for the Sales Market, consisting of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary.

- Lead and execute the Health & Safety strategy for the Sales Market, ensuring alignment with global H&S frameworks and local legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, company standards and internal routines across all locations.
- Develop, implement and maintain Health & Safety policies, procedures and manuals.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards and follow up on corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead incident investigations, including root‑cause analysis, reporting and implementation of preventive measures.
- Organise and deliver Health & Safety training (e.g. fire safety, manual handling, first aid).
- Act as the main point of contact for regulatory authorities, insurance representatives and emergency services.
- Drive awareness and engagement around Health & Safety through audits, communication and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and follow up Global Health & Safety Week (GHSW) activities.
- Oversee Travel Risk processes, including travel risk assessments, traveler support and emergency response protocols.
Koho hledáme
- 3 years of experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably within retail, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Proven experience working in a Health & Safety role, preferably within retail, logistics or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, compliance standards and best practices.
- Experience developing, implementing and maintaining H&S policies, risk assessments and emergency procedures.
- Proven experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations.
- Ability to analyse incident data, identify trends and define corrective actions.
- Relevant education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely or similar (highly desirable).
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.
- Structured, analytical and detail‑oriented, with a proactive and hands‑on approach.
- Strong communicators who can engage, train and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Confident working independently while collaborating across functions and cultures.
- Comfortable acting as an expert and advisor within Health & Safety topics.
