About the location: Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia will feature 95 keys and 25 branded residential homes, 8 distinct F&B outlets, all thoughtfully designed to reflect a contemporary interpretation of the Dominican Republic’s natural beauty. Wellness will be a defining pillar of the property, delivering a holistic experience that harmonizes with the natural environment while enhancing overall wellbeing through the restorative power of nature. The sustainable luxury destination is located on a 60-acre (24 hectare) site along the pristine beachfront of Playa Esmeralda in northeastern Dominican Republic, along the southern shores of Samaná Bay. A site of breathtaking natural beauty, Tropicalia is home to a diverse ecosystem of white-sand beaches; crystalline, aquamarine water and coral reefs; mountains, forests, mangroves, lagoons and rivers; a working coconut plantation; and an organic farm. Target start date for this role is August 1.

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve hotel budget targets.
- Recruit, lead and manage the sales team to ensure sales activities are aligned to achieve overall goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, colleagues, and the world wide sales network.
- Monitor sales production, analyze market data, and adjust sales strategies to meet planned goals.
- Review and approve group contracts, considering room availability, rates, and revenue objectives.
- Participate in trade shows, promotional events, and networking opportunities to develop new markets and identify potential clients.
- Analyze sales performance data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring retention and repeat business.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner and strategic lead for top East Coast travel industry accounts, driving market share growth and sustained revenue performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and follow up with sales and events personnel for development and coaching opportunities.
- Perform all supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel assigned, including but not limited to labor and payroll, compliance training, safety instruction and guidance on expense and travel management.
- Direct sales activities of the Hotel to achieve budgeted and assigned goals.
- Monitor and identify current and future business trends to insure profitable sales in periods of low and high demand.
- Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan.
- Ensure project and business plans are executed for all market areas as stated in the hotel marketing plan with emphasis on increasing sales and profitability.
- Supervise the installation of sales and marketing procedures and ensure the hotel is following all company Minimum Operating Standards.
- Assist the Commercial Director in establishing and directing the development of annual sales goals; ensures goals and incentive programs are fully understood and implemented for maximum achievement.

- Proven leadership experience in hotel sales, preferably in the luxury hospitality market for minimum of two years.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong relationships with top East Coast travel partners

- Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluent in English, with knowledge of Spanish being an advantage.
