EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities.
Our mission is to accelerate change towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and liveable urban spaces. We connect public and private actors and provide them with access to markets, talent, finance and knowledge.
Using cities as living labs, our industry, research and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.

Our EIT Urban Mobility Academy is a collaborative arena for lifelong learning, helping to build critical capabilities for innovation and transformation. We are training the next generation of urban mobility practitioners, needed by the urban mobility ecosystem of the future. Within the Academy, Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) offers a variety of training programmes and experiences on hot topics in urban mobility and transport for professionals and organisations around Europe. In close collaboration with universities, business schools, consultancies and mobility experts, this lifelong learning initiative uses different formats including light online material in a YouTube channel, online courses (asynchronous), and face-to-face (F2F) courses (on-site, online synchronous and blended).
