Purpose of the Job
Our Concept Engineers are people who can turn a vision into reality. In this role, you won’t be starting from a blank canvas, you’ll partner closely with client design teams to refine and elevate their ideas for fashion retail environments. Your job is to take those creative concepts and engineer them into practical, sustainable, and visually stunning in-store experiences.
From material selection and structural detailing to ensuring cost efficiency and manufacturability, you’ll bridge the gap between imagination and execution. You’ll create detailed specifications, 3D visuals, and presentation assets that bring clarity and confidence to every design decision. Working alongside account managers, engineers, and production specialists, you’ll make sure every display not only looks incredible but works flawlessly in the real world.

This role operates on a blended basis between the local HH Global office, client site and home as necessary.

- Design striking retail displays that blend beauty, practicality, and production efficiency
- Respond to briefs with clever, commercially savvy ideas
- Develop fixtures and components with a focus on materials, cost, and sustainability
- Create mood boards, sketches, 3D visuals, and presentation decks to tell compelling design stories
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Engineers, and Production teams
- Pitch and present ideas directly to clients, embracing feedback
- Embed sustainability into every design decision—materials, carbon footprint, modularity
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously
- Contribute to brainstorms and push creative boundaries in retail design
Koho hledáme
- Degree in Product, Industrial, Furniture, or 3D Design (or related field) would be beneficial
- Proven experience with fashion brands and retail executions
- Strong portfolio showcasing design process from concept to completion
- Hands-on experience designing permanent POS retail displays
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and SketchUp
- Exceptional sketching skills and visual storytelling ability
- Deep knowledge of materials (wood, metal, acrylics) and manufacturing processes
- Passion for sustainable design and environmental impact awareness
- Detail-oriented with strong on-brand execution
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with project management tools and multitasking under deadlines
- Strategic, collaborative, fast-thinking, and shopper-focused mindset
- Advanced level of English and Czech is required for written and verbal communication
