O pozici
Ciklum is looking for a Solution Architect to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic.
We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.
About the role:
We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to take full ownership of the technical design and architecture on a complex, enterprise-scale AI project. In this role, you will define and validate the end-to-end solution architecture, lead critical Phase 0 decisions, and hold the technical line on scope throughout delivery. This is a high-impact position for an experienced architect who thrives in ambiguous environments, makes confident decisions under uncertainty, and brings both strategic thinking and deep technical depth.
About the project: You will join a team building an enterprise-scale AI Knowledge Management platform for a large European software company in the healthcare IT space. The mission is to deploy an advanced RAG system that automates, structures, and synchronises critical support ticket data. The platform extends existing infrastructure — including a PostgreSQL proof-of-concept at 2M documents and an SAP AI Core configuration — rather than rebuilding from scratch. The core challenges are confirming the final vector DB and embedding stack, designing PII-safe multilingual ingestion, and ensuring bidirectional sync with NICE CXone as the production knowledge base, all within EU data residency and GxP/GDPR constraints.
Co budeš dělat
- Own end-to-end technical design under the extend, don’t replace principle — jointly assessing existing SAP AI Core configuration, PostgreSQL setup, and prototype work with the client’s technical owner during Phase 0 before confirming the final architecture
- Define the full Azure platform architecture, including retrieval architecture, ingestion and embedding topology, and bidirectional NICE sync design
- Lead the Phase 0 Vector DB Proof of Concept and confirm the final stack before the build phase begins
- Design the PII redaction approach, audit trail, and EU data residency setup in compliance with GxP and GDPR requirements
- Hold the technical scope line throughout delivery, ensuring architectural decisions remain aligned with project constraints and client objectives
- Serve as the technical authority during client engagements, ensuring architecture quality, scalability, performance, and reliability
- Design and oversee integrations with third-party systems including knowledge bases and ticketing systems
- Identify key business stakeholders and establish clear communication on technical decisions and trade-offs
- Contribute to the development of architecture design and documentation processes, ensuring decisions are transparent and well-documented
- Translate business and compliance constraints (GxP, GDPR, budget, timeline) into architectural decisions and document them as architecture decision records
- Lead technical communication with senior client stakeholders (CTO, IT Director, Compliance Lead) — presenting trade-offs, risks, and decisions clearly and without jargon
- Own architecture documentation throughout delivery, ensuring all key decisions are recorded, versioned, and accessible to the team

- Experience with multilingual embedding model selection and per-task LLM routing
- Experience designing integrations with third-party platforms such as NICE CXone or similar contact centre / ticketing systems
- Proven ability to assess and extend existing infrastructure (SAP AI Core, legacy Postgres setups, or equivalent) rather than greenfield design
- GxP and GDPR compliance experience, including audit trail design and EU data residency configuration
