- Supervises a team of individual contributors and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.
- Conducts the day-to-day operations of the Payments function.
- Delivering based upon the agree SLAs and ensuring policy, tax, local and legal statutory compliance
- Executes strategies that aim to reduce costs, optimize processes and experience, and mitigate risks.
- Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within expected standards.
- Serves as a key contact for internal and external audits related to Payments, including active participation in audit reviews and ownership of remediation actions within the area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with multiple departments in the development and execution of strategies and plans that improve the organization’s profitability and competitive position, utilizing market intelligence and risk assessments.
- Drives continuous improvements in user experience, effectiveness, and efficiency in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Supports development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives within assigned area of responsibility.
- Create Value by establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key business partners and peers with a view to pro-actively understand and constructively influence their needs and expectations.
- Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree is required. An MBA or further advanced degree is preferred.
- Required: 4-6 years of Procurement, Finance, or other relevant business experience
- Collaboration, Communication & Influencing Skills: Should be regarded as a constructive player in various teams within the company and outside. Should have the requisite communication skills to communicate & influence objectives and then develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally to achieve them.
- Learning Agility & Openness to Change
- Fluency in English (written and oral) is required.
- Preferred: Good understanding of Requisition-to-pay and Source-to-settle processes and operations is preferred.
- Experience in one or more Procurement Functional domains: Sourcing incl. negotiation of commercial and non-commercial terms, Category management, R2P or Accounts Payable.
- Shared Services Industry experience is preferred.
- Fluency in one other language (written and oral) for the supported region is preferred.
- Requires up to 5% domestic and international travel.
