Summary:
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be a key member of the newly established A2C Insights & Data Foundation team. The team supports SAP’s vision of becoming a data-driven company by building a consistent and reliable data foundation that accelerates the development of best-in-class AI solutions, applications, and analytical dashboards.
The team’s work plays a critical role in SAP’s overall transformation and is a key building block in enabling data-driven innovation across the organization.

- In this role, you will partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and architects to turn bold ideas into production-ready AI solutions.
- You’ll design and implement cutting-edge AI systems, build robust big data pipelines, and ensure solutions meet the highest standards of scalability, observability, and compliance.
- Work closely with data foundation and analytics experts to unlock the full potential of our data in an agile, collaborative environment.
- Build and scale cutting-edge Generative AI and agent-based systems, taking ideas from early prototypes to production-grade solutions.
- Engineer robust data and application pipelines for LLM-powered products, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Introduce and mature AgentOps capabilities to manage and automate the lifecycle of AI agents and LLM applications.
- Ensure production reliability of AI systems through strong observability, monitoring, and compliance practices.
Koho hledáme
- Degree in computer science (or similar field)
- 5+ Years in Software Engineering
- Fluent English with a hands-on, solutions-oriented way of thinking
- Proven hands-on experience in developing and deploying LLM applications.
- Advanced coding skills in Python or Java, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
- Familiarity with AgentOps tools such as LangSmith, LangFuse, or MLflow for tracing and observability.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
