- The Central & Eastern Cluster Finance Manager holds dual accountability for business controlling and fiduciary oversight across a cluster of countries in Central and Eastern Europe. This is a senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end financial management of the Robotics Division within the cluster, spanning business performance management, legal entity financial stewardship, statutory compliance, and strategic business partnering.
- Act as the primary strategic finance partner to cluster and country leadership, driving performance, cost discipline, and value creation across all business lines.
- Lead all financial planning cycles including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and mid-year revisions, ensuring cluster targets align with global divisional objectives.
- Own the Business Performance Management (BPM) process, including demand order budgeting, revenue forecasting, backlog management, and orders-backlog-revenue (OBR) reporting.
- Drive variance analysis (actual vs. budget, prior year, prior quarter) with executive-quality commentary for monthly operating reviews (MORs) and divisional leadership.
- Develop and maintain cluster-level dashboards and KPI reporting covering profitability, margin, cash flow, working capital, and project performance.
- Provide forward-looking financial insight and risk assessments to support strategic decisions at cluster and global level.
- Assume full fiduciary responsibility for all Robotics Division legal entities within the cluster, ensuring compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across each jurisdiction.
- Oversee financial accounting, reporting, and controlling functions for each legal entity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of statutory filings, tax returns, VAT submissions, and other regulatory obligations.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and applicable local GAAPs, maintaining alignment between statutory and management reporting.
- Manage external audit processes for all cluster entities, serving as primary liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Establish and maintain local finance governance frameworks aligned with both local regulations and global BL Industries policies, including assurance and internal controls.
- Monitor and control cash flow and treasury activities across cluster entities, managing bank relationships and authorized signatory obligations for statutory filings and legal documentation.
- Act as accountable owner for transfer pricing compliance, intercompany transactions, and cross-border financial arrangements within the cluster.
- Ensure full cost reviews, contract reviews, and forecast accuracy to support strategic decision-making across all significant orders and long-term projects in the cluster.
- Partner with project managers and operations to ensure financial alignment with project execution plans, including revenue recognition, margin optimization, and proactive risk management.
- Lead monthly project reviews, identifying deviations, escalating risks, and driving corrective actions in collaboration with operational leadership.
- Maintain robust WIP, backlog, and milestone tracking to support accurate revenue and margin forecasting across business lines.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal policies, and corporate governance frameworks across all cluster entities.
- Implement and monitor financial and non-financial internal controls to ensure robust governance. Promote ethical financial practices and compliance with the BL Industries Code of Conduct.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate financial risks including compliance gaps, control weaknesses, and regulatory changes across cluster jurisdictions. Maintain readiness for internal audits.
- Lead, develop, and performance-manage the cluster finance team across all countries, including controllers, analysts, and fiduciary finance staff.
- Build finance capability across the cluster through coaching, structured development plans, and succession planning.
- Drive continuous improvement and process standardization across the cluster finance function, including automation of reporting and FP&A workflows.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional qualification strongly preferred (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in financial controlling, business finance, or regional finance leadership in a multinational or B2B industrial environment.
- Proven track record of holding dual business controlling and statutory/fiduciary finance accountability across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience managing finance functions across Central and/or Eastern European markets, with working knowledge of local statutory, tax, and regulatory environments in at least two cluster countries.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, business performance management, and project controlling in a project-based or capital equipment business.
- Experience leading and developing multi-country finance teams in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing senior operational and commercial leadership at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP required), financial analytics tools, and Excel. Experience with Power BI or equivalent reporting tools preferred.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Polish or another CEE language is a significant advantage.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency, continuous improvement, and strong personal accountability.
