We're looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our Data Team in Ostrava and play a key role in AXA's transformation into a truly data-driven company. Our data infrastructure is built on Azure and Databricks, providing a robust foundation for scalable, efficient data pipelines. Your work powers analytics and reporting solutions built in Power BI, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Co budeš dělat
- Independently design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for maximum efficiency
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance
- Help shape the data architecture that powers decision-making across all business lines
Koho hledáme
- Solid experience in data engineering – you've built pipelines and you know what works
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design
- Hands-on experience with pipeline orchestration tools – ideally Azure Data Factory or Databricks Workflows
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL)
- Ability to optimize how data is stored, moved, and retrieved at scale
- English at B2 level – collaboration happens across borders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
