As Plant Manager, for our Velke Opatovice plant, you are fully accountable for the performance, safety, and long-term competitiveness of the site. You lead the operation with a clear focus on delivering results in safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and people development—while driving continuous improvement and strategic growth. At RHI Magnesita, you are part of the global leader in the refractory industry, shaping the foundation of essential high-temperature processes across industries such as steel, cement, glass, and energy. In this role, you translate our purpose into operational excellence and sustainable site development—ensuring that our plant remains a safe, high-performing, and future-ready contributor to our global success.
Co budeš dělat
- Overall responsibility for plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production
- Delivering production targets across quality, cost, and on-time delivery
- Monitoring and steering key KPIs and drive performance improvements
- Ensuring full compliance with HSE, legal, and quality standards
- Leading a strong safety culture with a clear zero-accident ambition
- Acting as key representative towards customers, authorities, and internal stakeholders
Koho hledáme
- A technical university degree (bachelor's or master's) with a focus on ceramics, material science, quality management, process engineering, chemistry or similar
- Several years of relevant working experience in an industrial manufacturing environment together with some leadership experience
- Experience in refractory, ceramics, cement, steel, or process industries
- Strong expertise in production and investment management
- Proven track record in change management and operational transformation
