As an IT Regional Manager, you are expected to lead by example, demonstrate strong ethical standards, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the region. In addition to delivering technical and operational results, you are also expected to demonstrate and will be assessed against Plasman’s leadership competencies.

- Responsible manager for regional Plasman IT operations, including budget responsibility and alignment to business priorities.
- Serve as a member of the Global IT management team, supporting the implementation and sustainment of global IT standards, practices, and strategic direction across Europe and within the regional IT organization.
- Provide hands-on leadership and technical ownership for regional infrastructure operations, including network, server, endpoint, identity, cloud, backup, monitoring, and core IT services, while maintaining oversight of ERP and other IT functional areas through designated leads.
- Act as process owner for Plasman IT processes and ensure business applications are governed in a structured and consistent manner.
- Partner with ERP, EDI, MES/OT and business application leads to translate business and operational needs into scalable system solutions that align with regional and global IT standards.
- Lead and actively support regional infrastructure initiatives and projects, including standardization, lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, asset visibility, service availability, and remediation of unsupported or end-of-life technology.
- Partner with Global IT and regional stakeholders to implement global standards, drive consistency in business application support models, and align regional solutions with enterprise objectives.
- Ensure regional infrastructure and IT operations are reliable, secure, cost efficient, productive, and strategically sound by actively reviewing system health, capacity, performance, patch levels, backup status, monitoring alerts, and service risks.
- Promote a common standardized IT and business application environment across the region while supporting operational requirements.
- Ensure that policies, procedures, and supporting documents are implemented and that Plasman remains compliant with applicable standards, controls, GDPR requirements, and regional data privacy obligations.
- Promote awareness and understanding of compliance requirements, including data protection, access governance, audit readiness, and adherence to regional regulatory expectations.
- Take direct responsibility for regional IT Disaster Recovery readiness, including backup validation, recovery planning, infrastructure resilience, technical runbooks, testing support, and protection of company operations against infrastructure and business application risks.
- Participate directly in the investigation, escalation, and resolution of critical infrastructure incidents, including coordination of internal resources, vendors, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and communication to affected stakeholders.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of regional infrastructure environments and provide practical technical guidance to infrastructure, network, security, and site IT resources during operational issues, project execution, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure that the IT organizational structure is appropriate for supporting current and future business needs.
- Lead and allocate work within the team/department.
- Ensure that a safe and healthy working environment is integrated into daily work in accordance with Plasman policies and Country legislation and regulations.
- Play a key role in the strategic development and execution of business goals at Plasman, taking ownership of initiatives that contribute to the company’s growth.
- Responsible for recruiting, retaining, and developing talent to ensure a continuous flow of skilled professionals within the organization.
- Support the ongoing development of employees through training, mentorship and opportunities for career advancement to strengthen the company's competitive position in the market.
Koho hledáme
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in an IT management, regional IT leadership, or business systems management role.
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with strong hands-on exposure to infrastructure, networks, servers, endpoints, cloud services, identity platforms, security controls, and disaster recovery, along with oversight exposure to ERP, MES/OT, EDI, manufacturing systems, and business applications.
- Experience supporting ERP platforms in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to work closely with ERP leads on integrations, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and business processes across areas such as production, supply chain, quality, and inventory management.
- Experience providing leadership oversight for business application projects, upgrades, implementations, or continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with business stakeholders and technical leads.
