- A unique opportunity to work with the Head of Finance on monthly management reporting, touching on revenue, cost of sales, development spend (capex) and people costs. supporting the month-end close processes and supporting business-critical projects during a period of transformation. Driving accurate and timely reporting, the Finance Analyst will support budgeting and forecasting processes, developing relationships with the leadership team across the business. The successful candidate will take a role that sees the end-to-end reporting and forecasting, gaining a broad understanding of the P&L. 24i is undertaking a business process and systems upgrade and there will be the opportunity to contribute to transforming data and financial processes.
- Timely and accurate delivery of month end responsibilities, supporting line manager (Head of Finance) and providing support and back-up to Revenue Reporting Manager (dotted line)
- Deliver budgeting/forecasting responsibilities people costs, cost of sales, capitalisation
- Ownership of capitalisation audit process
- Month End:
Revenue and customer billing responsibility: collecting monthly SaaS usage data for reporting; preparing debtor aging reports for Group reporting and to support short term cash forecasting; reviewing short term cash forecast assumptions; manage debtors and responsibility for cash collection
- Revenue and customer billing support for Revenue Reporting Manager: regular and ad-hoc AR and billing administration; customer account admin and management; regular communication and checks with sales and project management teams; Debtor management and reporting; master file data maintenance
- Cost of Sales accruals and reporting against budget/forecast across key service providers such as AWS and outsourced development support
- Capex preparation working with business
- Contractors spend accruals
- People costs reporting and assignment of spend ownership/governance
- Exceptionals spend review and assignment
- Prepare consolidated transaction file (download data and consolidate via power query)
- Prepare tables for Monthly Business Review slides
- Budgeting/Forecasting and Business Partnering
Prepare headcount forecast model, both for monthly rolling forecast and for annual Budgeting process
- Cost of Sales: working with the business to agree spend management in budget/forecast periods and track identified savings or efficiencies
- Capex: partner with business to understand current spend, expected changes and requested investments and prepare draft forecasts/budgets

Capitalisation and revenue/AR support for audit

- Pro-active, delivery-driven accountant who can make a meaningful contribution in a short space of time. Both month-end and forecasting role. Tenacious approach to solving problems and supporting process change. An individual who is naturally curious, willing and eager to develop and demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Preferable qualifications/experience: 3 years of financial accounting experience (understanding double entry) and ideally in a multi-national/multi-entity environment
- Monthly management accounting and cost reporting, including writing variance analysis
- Accounting systems experience: able to find, extract and report data from systems
Benefity
- Remote with a one day per week on site in the Brno office after probation (2-3 days during probation). Twelve month fixed-term contract in the first instance, with expectation to become permanent.
