The Business Analyst supports the Purchase & Sustainability domain by translating business needs into data-driven solutions (Power BI reports).
The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, and to document these into clear processes and specifications.
In addition, the Business Analyst contributes to continuous process improvement by supporting end‑to‑end delivery activities, including scoping, coordination, planning, user acceptance testing, and go‑live support. The role also includes analyzing and managing production issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining the quality and reliability of delivered solutions.

- Business Analysis & Discovery
Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and system needs
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and/or Project Lead to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and roadmap
Analyze the current state, identify gaps between existing processes and desired outcomes, and propose solutions to bridge those gaps

- Requirements & Process Design
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and use cases
Map business processes and present them through clear visualizations and structured documentation
Produce functional specifications, data/information models, and support high-level solution design
Ensure that requirements are clearly communicated and understood by developers
- Data & Reporting
Analyze data and translate it into meaningful insights that support decision-making
Design and enhance reports and dashboards in collaboration with stakeholders and technical team
Define key metrics, KPIs, and reporting logic aligned with business objectives
- Stakeholder Engagement & Adoption
Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and support solution adoption
Drive platform awareness, adoption, and effective usage across the organization
Present products and solutions through demos, presentations, and structured documentation
Ensure clear communication and that relevant information reaches the right audience
- Product Delivery & Agile Support
Support end‑to‑end delivery activities including scoping, planning, coordination, and execution
Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and evaluation of business value
Assist in defining initial business cases, high-level requirements, scope, and objectives
Work closely with developers to ensure business requirements are translated into valuable technic
- Testing, Launch & Continuous Improvement
Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure readiness for go‑live
Support launch activities and provide post‑go‑live guidance to users
Identify and drive process improvement opportunities within the domain and reporting solutions
- Production Support & Issue Management
Analyze and prioritize production issues, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with relevant teams
Investigate root causes and support implementation of corrective actions

- Education
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business economics or equivalent experience
- Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience as Business analyst in a multinational or consultancy company
- Hard Skills
Hands-on experience with SQL
Understanding of data warehousing and relational database concepts & technologies
Good understanding of data structures and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)

Experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives with strong planning and organizational capabilities
