Job summary
Welo Data is building a global talent network of Lao-speaking contributors to help improve AI. This is not an active job opening; applying adds you to the contributor database, and you may be contacted when suitable projects become available. Work is fully remote and flexible, with projects ranging from a few days to several weeks. Tasks may include annotating text, images, or audio; evaluating search results, ads, or chatbot responses; creating prompts; and checking cultural and linguistic accuracy. Applicants should have native or near-native Lao fluency, English proficiency, digital skills, curiosity, and strong attention to detail. Project scope, schedule, and compensation are provided before each assignment.

What you’ll do
- Annotate or label text, images, or audio to train AI systems
- Evaluate search results, ads, or chatbot responses for quality and relevance
- Create and test prompts to improve large language models (LLMs)
- Ensure content reflects cultural, linguistic, or industry-specific accuracy
