Who we’re looking for

  • proven experience in Python development and maintenance,
  • hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services,
  • practi cal experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery,
  • good knowledge of Docker and containerised applications,
  • experience with RESTful APIs and API integrations,
  • practical experience with MQTT protocol and messaging systems,
  • experience with automated testing using pytest or unittest,
  • understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices,
  • experience with Git and collaborative development workflows,
  • knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native applications,
  • good understanding of asynchronous programming in Python,
  • ability to analyse, troubleshoot and resolve production issues,
  • ability to work with existing and legacy codebases,
  • attention to detail and commitment to code quality,
  • good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team,
  • good command of technical English (at least B2 level).

What you’ll do

  • investigating and diagnosing bugs in production Python applications,
  • implementing code fixes and enhancements for Azure-hosted applications,
  • maintaining and improving existing Python codebases,
  • refactoring and optimising application code,
  • designing, creating and executing automated tests,
  • validating fixes in development and staging environments,
  • developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and API integrations,
  • working with Docker containers and supporting containerised deployments,
  • ensuring reliable MQTT communication and message processing,
  • monitoring application logs and performance metrics,
  • documenting code changes and updating technical documentation,
  • participating in code reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams,
  • supporting deployments through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
