Who we’re looking for

  • 5–8+ years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or finance
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or technology environment is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting
  • Good understanding of CZ GAAP; IFRS knowledge is an advantage
  • Experience with inventory, production costing, and operational controlling
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Fluent English

What you’ll do

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting
  • Analyze financial performance and explain variances against budget and forecast
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Prepare reports for group consolidation (IFRS)
  • Monitor financial KPIs and provide business insights to management
  • Analyze profitability, margins, and operational performance
  • Support department managers with financial analysis and decision-making
  • Develop financial models and ad-hoc analyses
  • Monitor inventory valuation and inventory turnover
  • Analyze production costs, material consumption, labour, and overheads
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational inefficiencies
  • Support inventory planning and monitor obsolete stock risks
  • Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
  • Monitor receivables, payables, and inventory levels
  • Prepare regular cash flow reports for management
  • Support intercompany reconciliations and reporting
  • Ensure consistency between local reporting and group requirements
  • Assist with IFRS reporting and consolidation activities
  • Improve reporting quality and financial processes
  • Automate reporting where possible
  • Support implementation of finance best practices and internal controls

About the position

The Financial Controller will be responsible for providing financial insights, reporting, and controlling support for the Czech operations while ensuring alignment with the international group. The role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, operational finance, and supporting business decisions through accurate financial analysis. This position works closely with the Chief Accountant, who manages day-to-day accounting operations and statutory compliance, and cooperates with the VP Finance and CFO on group reporting and financial planning.
