Indirect Purchasing Global Category Manager Machines and MROVerified as a real position

Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree
• Several years of professional experience in strategic/commodity sourcing and ideally in Machines and MRO/ indirect or direct purchasing
• Working experience in international business environment with regional scope
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing suppliers and their contracts
• Ability to communicate effectively across different organizational units and build consensus
• Ability to work in a team, assertiveness and strong communication skills
• Confident in written and spoken English
• Confident in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is a big advantage

What you’ll do

• Developing and implementing the purchasing strategy for the assigned categories (Machines and MRO) in close collaboration with the Global Category Director, functional departments and the relevant locations
• Conducting and finalizing contract negotiations mainly within EMEA region
• Drive sourcing process, execute RFQs and negotiate prices and commercial terms & conditions
• Identifying and actively driving forward initiatives to reduce costs and increase efficiency
• Active support in the implementation of sustainability and compliance initiatives
• Strongly orient all measures and decisions to purchasing management KPIs
• Perform data analytics for assigned sub-commodities
