- The Commercial Implementation Lead provides strategic and operational leadership support to the General Manager and the Surgery leadership team by ensuring clarity of priorities, executive readiness for key engagements, and disciplined follow-through on critical decisions and actions.
- Operating under minimal supervision, the role leads complex cross-functional programs, projects, and governance processes that span multiple related areas of the Surgery business across CEE.
- The role synthesizes business, performance, market, and project information into concise, decision-oriented insights; recommends operational strategies and plans with direct impact on business results; and supports the leadership operating cadence (e.g., quarterly business reviews, strategy sessions, executive forums).
- This position applies comprehensive business knowledge, strong judgment, and experience to address complex problems, often with limited information, while guiding stakeholders and providing training or direction as needed to improve execution of priority initiatives across CEE.
- Executive Partnership & Decision Support: Serve as a trusted thought partner to the General Manager, independently structuring priorities, key messages, and decision points across the business while leading portions of complex cross-functional programs and processes.
- Proactively anticipate GM needs by identifying emerging topics, risks, and opportunities and proposing options and recommendations.
- Draft executive-ready narratives (1-page briefs, decision memos, talking points) to support leadership discussions and stakeholder engagement.
- Meeting & Travel Readiness / Briefings: Join key internal/external meetings and selected travel as the GM’s delegate/support, ensuring context, continuity, and follow-through.
- Prepare pre-briefs for the GM (meeting purpose, attendees, background, key data, desired outcomes, risks, and recommended approach).
- Capture meeting outcomes and translate them into clear actions: decisions, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and escalation paths; ensure closure.
- Strategic Planning & Business Insights: Develop a strong understanding of the Surgery business (strategy, financial drivers, customer/channel dynamics, competitive landscape, and key initiatives) to advise the GM effectively.
- Synthesize performance, market, and project data into actionable insights; highlight implications and trade-offs for leadership decisions.
- Support annual/quarterly operating rhythms (strategy reviews, QBRs, leadership offsites) by structuring content, aligning inputs, and driving executive-level readiness.
- Portfolio & Governance (Executive-Focused): Run an executive governance cadence for priority initiatives: define decision rights, agenda structure, pre-reads, and action tracking to accelerate outcomes.
- Maintain a consolidated view of the Surgery portfolio (priorities, milestones, interdependencies, risks, resource constraints) and recommend operational strategies, prioritization, and sequencing decisions that have direct impact on business results within the area of responsibility.
- Identify and resolve cross-functional issues early by framing complex problems, assessing trade-offs, and devising practical solutions even when information is incomplete or evolving across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and other partners.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Map and maintain key stakeholder relationships (internal and external), including context on priorities, influence, decision-making style, and open topics.
- Drive alignment on key initiatives and events (e.g., executive visits, townhalls, congress support) with clear objectives, messaging, and execution plans.
- Ensure communications and materials are consistent, concise, and executive-ready; tailor messaging to different audiences.

- Required Minimum Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. MBA preferred.
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated experience in roles requiring cross-functional leadership of complex programs, projects, or processes; executive-level stakeholder management; and structured problem solving across multiple related business areas.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into concise, executive-ready materials (briefs, decision memos, talking points) and clear recommendations.
- Strong analytical capability with business acumen; able to interpret performance/market/project data, identify implications, and support prioritization and trade-off discussions.
- Good understanding of the Medtech business.
