At XCEED, marketing is our primary growth engine. We are seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to take full command of it. The mission is dual-focused: make XCEED feel deeply local in every nightlife hub we enter, while engineering a high-velocity global growth engine that compounds.
This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for global marketing strategy, brand architecture, go-to-market direction, and organizational design. You will own the marketing vision, ecosystem positioning, and full marketing P&L, alongside the operating cadence, team leadership, and cross-functional alignment with Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Operations.

- Own the Ship: Define the overarching marketing vision, roadmap, and OKRs across Brand, Growth, Social, and B2B.
- Market-Specific Strategy: Architect localized, multi-market go-to-market strategies that respect and leverage the unique cultural nuances of individual nightlife ecosystems.
- Executive Representation: Partner directly with the CEO and C-suite, acting as the primary marketing liaison to translate company-wide business objectives into measurable marketing KPIs.
- Make Brand a Cultural Signal: Own XCEED’s global positioning, narrative, and identity. Ensure the brand shows up with impeccable taste across all channels, campaigns, and products for both B2C (fans) and B2B (organizers).
- Elevate Industry Credibility: Scale PR, thought leadership, case studies, and industry presence to solidify XCEED’s reputation as the definitive authority in nightlife technology.
- Activate Offline with Intent: Guide high-impact owned events, cultural activations, and co-branded partnerships as high-leverage tools for content creation, community growth, and key B2B relationships.
- Run the Marketing P&L: Total ownership of the marketing budget and forecasting. Ensure every Euro spent is an investment optimized for CAC, LTV, Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) contribution, and cohort retention.
- Scale the Growth Machine: Oversee performance marketing, CRM automation, lifecycle segmentation, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) across the entire user funnel.
- Data as the Referee: Champion a strict, dashboard-driven culture of attribution and reporting. Ensure decisions across the team are driven by hard data, cohort analysis, and clear ROI metrics, rather than opinions.
- Build the Machine: Lead, mentor, and scale the leadership tier across Partnerships, Social, Brand, and Growth.
- Raise Execution Standards: Implement agile workflows, clear creative briefs, and scalable playbooks that allow the team to execute fast, shift dynamically, and keep campaign correction rates remarkably low.

- Marketplace Scaling Experience: Proven track record as a CMO, VP, or Head of Marketing scaling high-growth, multi-market platforms (marketplaces, SaaS-enabled networks, ticketing, entertainment, or local discovery hybrids).
- Ecosystem & Cultural Fluency: Deep affinity for or experience in nightlife, music, festivals, or entertainment. You possess sharp cultural taste, understand how night life scenes tick, and know how to build a brand people genuinely feel .
- The Hybrid Mindset: Rare ability to balance high-level creative judgment with aggressive growth discipline. You are equally comfortable critiquing a creative campaign's aesthetic as you are diving into a cohort retention model or CAC/LTV ratio.
- Commercial & Financial Acumen: Complete comfort owning a complex P&L, forecasting budgets, and mapping marketing outcomes directly to top-line business growth and GMV contribution.
- Leadership Architecture: Proven experience building, coaching, and managing high-performing marketing teams. You know how to develop leaders, run clear performance management, and foster an ambitious creative culture.

- Competitive Compensation: The salary range listed for this role represents the base salary. This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus, bringing the total target compensation up to €120k OTE .
