Co budeš dělat
- Design and build full-stack data applications using Python (FastAPI) - cca 70-80% of your work; React/TypeScript, and BigQuery.
- Own features end-to-end including requirements gathering, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Deploy and maintain services on Kubernetes, participate in on-call rotations, and respond to production incidents.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to surface data products through clean, well-designed application layers.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and help shape build patterns and standards for the team.
- Participate in design and code reviews, providing meaningful feedback to peers.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, raising questions early and proposing simpler approaches where appropriate.
- Document decisions, data shapes, and operational runbooks so the team can move fast without losing context.
Koho hledáme
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production applications.
- Strong Python skills, including FastAPI or a comparable async web framework.
- Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript building and maintaining production UIs.
- Expert SQL skills and experience with BigQuery or another cloud data warehouse.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of REST API design, authentication patterns (OAuth2/API keys), and secure coding principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
