Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent).
6+ years of mechanical engineering experience; 3+ years in commercial vehicles or heavy‑duty machine design.
Strong background in machine building.
Proficiency with Inventor, SolidWorks, or NX.
Excellent experimental and analytical skills; strong understanding of static/dynamic structural behavior.
Strong English communication skills and a proactive, pragmatic mindset.
Passion for staying up‑to‑date with emerging technologies.

Co budeš dělat

Develop and improve products, systems, and components for Hookloaders, Skiploaders, and related equipment.
Conduct design reviews and risk assessments.
Investigate technical issues and propose corrective actions.
Support testing, validation, and product certification activities.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, weight reduction, and quality improvements.
Support product standardization and modularization initiatives.
Maintain product configurations and option structures.
Support on the creation and maintain of 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Support on perform engineering calculations and support FEM analysis.
Act as the primary technical contact between Hyva R&D and the Czech factory.
Support the introduction of new products into production.
Ensure product designs are manufacturable and aligned with factory capabilities.
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and procurement teams to resolve technical issues.
Support welding, assembly, machining, painting, and testing processes.
Participate in production trials, pilot builds, and first article inspections.
Travel regularly to the Czech factory to support production and implementation activities.
Collect manufacturing feedback and translate it into engineering improvements.
Coordinate and support implementation of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
Evaluate technical, quality, cost, and production impacts of proposed changes.
Ensure timely implementation of approved engineering changes.
Track ECN progress and remove implementation obstacles.
Coordinate drawing releases and documentation updates.
Verify implementation effectiveness through production feedback.
Analyze production bottlenecks and recurring quality issues.
Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.
Support lessons learned and best-practice sharing between factories.
Support Product Management, Quality, Purchasing, Service, and Manufacturing teams.
Provide technical guidance to suppliers and subcontractors.
Support complex customer-related technical issues when required.
Assist in technical training for production personnel and service organizations.

O pozici

The Senior Product Engineer – Factory Integration is responsible for supporting the successful industrialization, implementation, and continuous improvement of Hyva products within the Czech manufacturing facility. The position serves as the primary technical interface between the Netherlands R&D team and the Czech factory , one of the largest manufacturers of heavy-duty equipment in the region. The role ensures that product designs can be manufactured efficiently, that Engineering Change Notices (ECN) are implemented correctly, and that manufacturing feedback is incorporated into future product development. The position combines product engineering, industrialization, manufacturing support, and technical project management. The engineer participates throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept development and testing through serial production and continuous improvement.
