As a Senior ServiceNow SPM Developer, you will be responsible for configuring and developing ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements. While the primary focus of this role is Strategic Portfolio Management, you will also contribute to other ServiceNow modules as needed. Along with being an excellent developer, you will also work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective solutions that enhance our ServiceNow platform.

- Backend Development: Design, develop, and implement custom solutions and extensions in the backend of ServiceNow, with focus to core platform tables and the respective SPM modules.
- Process Customizations: Analyse existing processes related to all SPM processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement while maintaining the utmost closeness to the out of the box solution.
- Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with external tools to ensure seamless data transfer and processing.
- Innovation: Leverage your expertise to implement cutting-edge technologies provided by ServiceNow, such as AI functionalities or newest evolutions of DevOps.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct tests and quality assurance measures to ensure that the developed backend solutions are robust, error-free, and meet requirements.
- Documentation and Training: Create technical documentation, guides, and training materials for users and administrators to utilize the implemented solutions and features.
Koho hledáme
- Strong knowledge of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), including Idea, Demand, Portfolio, Program, Project, Resource, and Financial Planning.
- Demonstrable experience in ServiceNow backend development, preferably with a focus on the SPM module.
- Proficiency in coding and scripting within ServiceNow, including JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, etc.
- Sound practical experience with REST/ SOAP or other interfaces along with strong proficiency in handling JSON and XML.
- Experience with all SPM processes in ServiceNow, along with new technologies provided by ServiceNow, such as AI functionalities.
- Ability to analyse requirements and processes and develop customized solutions to meet those requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Sound knowledge of Agile, Digital Product Release and Test Management 2.0.
- Team orientation, communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with other developers, administrators, and end users.
- Fluent English language skills are essential, German language skills are advantageous.
- bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field is advantageous
- certifications in “Certified Systems Administrator” and “Implementation Specialist - SPM” are mandatory, “Certified Application Developer” welcomed
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with at least 2 years of experience in ServiceNow SPM
- practical experience in Agile and DevOps way of working
