Who we’re looking for
- Being a student of electrical engineering, mechatronics, cybernetics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of drives, converters, or electric motors is a plus.
- Valid electrical qualification (according to Czech legislation) is an advantage.
- Interest in electrical drives and enthusiasm for hands-on testing and evaluation of Siemens and competitor drive technologies.
- Independence and the ability to organize your own time.
- Availability to work at least 2 days a week in the office for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
What you’ll do
- Learning about and understanding electrical drives.
- Collaborating closely with product managers in Prague and abroad.
- After gaining experience, supporting the team through: Technical support activities; Documentation processing within the PLM process; Assistance with marketing; strategy preparation, Other product management-related tasks
- Testing Siemens and competitor frequency converters in a laboratory environment, including: Functional and comparative testing Braking resistor testing Software configuration and commissioning Device connection, setup, and troubleshooting with support from experienced colleagues
- Conducting research and market analysis of global markets (in Europe, Asia, and America) and evaluating competitive drives in terms of functionality, features, and data.
- Preparing technical and marketing presentations and supporting sales activities.
