Who we’re looking for
- At least 2 years of proven technical background in IT support, system engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of networks – basic understanding of authentication, APIs, and certificates is required
- Knowledge of Python – beginner to mid-level
- Basic Linux administration and Bash scripting
- Familiarity with CI/CD and IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
- Ability to write clear and structured documentation
What you’ll do
- Maintain BAU operations on all BPM servers in an RHEL environment (patching/hotfixing, upgrades, configuration)
- Ensure the resolution of infrastructure-related issues
- Act as a point of contact for infrastructure-related queries, discussions, and initiatives
- Monitor environment health and performance (through logs, reports, and dashboards)
- Take ownership of infrastructure assets and ensure appropriate measures (certificates, machine users, IaC playbooks, etc.)
- Manage, oversee, and implement integrations (APIs, file transfers, etc.) with other systems
- Maintain and develop up-to-date infrastructure documentation
- Identify opportunities for optimization and general improvement
About the position
Become a part of the Business Solutions Competence Center (BSCC) and contribute to process automation and optimization! We work with BPM software – Pega and Appian. As part of our team, you will keep these platforms secure and operational within the KBC environment, manage and implement infrastructure changes, and help set up integrations between our BPM tools and other systems across the KBC Group. Don’t worry if you don’t know everything – we will teach you. The most important thing for us is your desire to learn new things and a “get things done” attitude.
