Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and/or Python backend development
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle or equivalent)
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale or mission-critical systems
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Passion for building high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software
What you’ll do
- Build and enhance enterprise-scale applications that support QP2 modeling workflows (PK/PD, simulation, model lifecycle management)
- Develop solutions using Java/Python , integrated with AWS cloud services , Databricks , and Oracle databases , to power scalable and reproducible scientific computing
- Partner with QP2 scientists, modelers, and product managers to translate complex modeling requirements into robust, user-centric platform capabilities
- Spend ~90% of your time coding, debugging, and improving platform performance and usability
- Take on ~10% leadership scope: Mentor engineersConduct code reviewsInfluence architecture decisionsDrive engineering best practices and continuous improvement
- Ensure systems meet GxP regulatory standards , with strong focus on traceability, reproducibility, and reliability of scientific models
