Who we’re looking for
- A Master degree in engineering (electronics or electric is an asset) or relevant experience.
- A first experience in electronics/electrical system troubleshooting, mechanical system design and repair, and operations of large systems, as well as experience with different tools like cooling systems, vacuum systems, PLC´s regulation loops Programmable Logic Controller), drivers, sensors, electric motors positioning equipment, high and low voltage equipment
- The ability to troubleshoot large systems issues
- Willing to work rotating shifts during the week, saturday (between 6:00 AM and 10:30 PM) and weekends (average one weekends per month, with time off during the week)
- Knowledge of local EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations
- Fluent in english and Czech
What you’ll do
- Maintaining and troubleshooting the equipment
- Operating the system and providing technical support to the medical staff during patient treatment and clinical operations
- Ensuring the client requirements are met in term of technical performance, timing and safety
- Training customers
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (shift work)
- Upgrading and improving the system in collaboration with the R&D (Research and Development) department
About the position
You play a key role in our mission to treat cancer patients. As a Service Engineer, you will work on advanced medical devices and proton therapy systems, supporting clinical operations and ensuring optimal performance of cutting-edge technology. Based on-site in Praha, you will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and continuous improvement of complex systems with a specific focus on electronic and electrical systems
