Who we’re looking for
- Must-Have Experience 3+ years of hands-on paid search experience, with Bing (Microsoft Advertising) as a channel you have owned. Experience managing six-figure monthly ad spend on Bing specifically, with clear ROI accountability. Proven track record scaling Bing volumes profitably — growing the channel, not just maintaining it. Experience driving subscriptions through web funnels (web-to-web) for D2C products (optional). Deep Microsoft Advertising platform knowledge: account structures, keyword strategy, bidding, and audience targeting. Multi-GEO experience running and scaling search campaigns across multiple countries. Advanced Excel skills plus proficiency in Tableau and Mixpanel — you build your own performance models and frameworks.
- Operating Attributes Autonomous and proactive — takes full ownership of the channel and operates with minimal oversight. Highly analytical — every scaling and kill decision is grounded in data, not intuition alone. Growth-oriented — focused on finding the volume the channel is not delivering today. Fast under load — runs multiple campaigns, tests, and reporting streams in parallel without letting quality slip. Clear, direct communicator — presents insights, results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Channel Ownership & Performance Own and optimise the Microsoft Advertising account end to end — structure, bidding, budget allocation, scaling. Grow channel volume well beyond current levels while maintaining efficient CPA and positive ROI. Prepare and present a clear weekly channel strategy with results and next steps.
- Search Strategy & Expansion Design and refine campaign structures, keyword strategies, and bidding approaches. Test and scale campaign types beyond core search, including Microsoft Audience Network. Expand into new geos and segments based on performance data.
- Creative & Messaging Collaboration Work closely with the creative team on ad copy and assets for search and audience placements. Test new angles and messaging strategies, scaling what performs. Provide data-driven feedback to guide copy and creative direction.
- Analytics & Data Build custom performance models, analyses, and reporting in Excel, Tableau, and Mixpanel. Develop growth plans based on CPA, ROI, and ARPU cohort data with the data team.
