Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IP networking, telecommunications, network architecture, solution management, pre-sales engineering, or related areas.
- Deep technical expertise in IP routing & switching (mandatory) enterprise architectures: BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, EVPN/VXLAN, Segment Routing, QoS, HA, and network security integration.
- Proven experience leading customer-facing workshops, solution presentations, and technical discussions.
- Experience preparing successful tender, bid, and proposal responses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders from engineering teams through senior management and executive leadership.
- Experience within telecommunications operators, networking vendors, system integrators, or enterprise networking environments is highly preferred.
- Professional English communication skills (written and spoken).
- German language skills are considered a strong advantage.
What you’ll do
- Lead technical activities for IP networking opportunities, including customer workshops, solution design, technical presentations, and proposal development.
- Partner with Sales teams to develop account strategies and support business growth initiatives.
- Work closely with account managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, including solution descriptions, BoQ/BoM design, scope definition, assumptions, and risk assessment.
- Design and develop IP networking solutions covering technologies such as Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN/VXLAN, QoS, traffic engineering, high availability, and security integration.
- Define Proof of Concept (PoC) and pilot plans, including acceptance criteria and success metrics.
- Collect customer and market feedback and translate business requirements into product and solution enhancement recommendations.
- Collaborate with Marketing teams on go-to-market activities, customer references, webinars, industry events, and product launches.
- Support business planning activities including pipeline analysis, revenue forecasting, and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Identify customer business challenges and translate them into innovative networking solutions that deliver measurable business value.
