Who we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in cost management within the construction sector.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, costs, and relevant legislation.
- Experience managing costs on large-scale projects is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as KROS, RTS, Callida, MS Project, and ideally CAD/BIM/CDE.
- Proficiency in English (minimum B1 level) for international communication.
- Proficiency in Czech (minimum B2 level).
- Eligible to work in Czech Republic.
- Relevant qualification in a construction-related field.
What you’ll do
- Develop and oversee cost plans across the full project lifecycle.
- Lead the creation of tender documentation, including bills of quantities and commercial terms.
- Produce and regularly update detailed cost estimates.
- Engage with suppliers for price negotiations and evaluate submitted offers.
- Evaluate tender procedures and prepare comprehensive Tender Reports.
- Identify risks and propose strategies for cost optimisation.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Lead coordination and evaluation meetings to drive project outcomes.
- Manage project documentation and operate within CDE systems like Dalux.
- Prepare data and insights for project reporting.
- Guide and mentor a small team to achieve shared goals.
About the position
We are looking for an experienced colleague to take full ownership of sampling processes during the delivery of construction projects and act as a key partner in coordinating between the general contractor, investor, architect, and other project stakeholders.
