Senior Compliance Officer

Who we’re looking for

• At least 6 to 8 years of relevant experience within the financial sector, a substantial part of which is in Compliance or another second-line position
• In-depth knowledge of relevant CZ and EU laws and regulations
• Proven experience with complex cases, escalations and senior stakeholder management
• Experience with local regulatory bodies interactions
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a pragmatic mindset
• Able to work independently, make decisions and give direction in a dynamic context
• Excellent communication skills and strong powers of persuasion
• Fluent English, both orally and in writing

What you’ll do

• Acting as a critical sparring partner for business and management in complex compliance and integrity issues
• Taking ownership of complex multi-stakeholder files, risks and regulatory frameworks
• Monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations and translate them into clear, practical guidelines
• Proactively identifying compliance and integrity risks and developing well-founded positions
• Challenging existing principles and tackling them where necessary
• Actively contribute to the further development and maturity of the compliance function
• Participate in policy development, thematic reviews and impact analyses of new or amended regulations
• Independently lead projects from start to finish: from problem definition and stakeholder alignment to concrete recommendations
• Strengthening the compliance culture through knowledge sharing, guidance and awareness initiatives
• Representing Compliance in contacts with external parties such as regulators and auditors
