Who we’re looking for

• Must Have • Practical experience with electrical systems (automotive or similar) • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following; Wiring/harness assembly, Soldering/building electronic components, Reading electrical schematics • Knowledge of vehicle communication systems (CAN/LIN) • Understanding of automotive electrical architecture / SW updates (basic level) • Not purely software focused – interest in hardware and hands-on work is essential • English language • Willingness to travel (CZ & Germany) • Proactive, hands-on working style
• Nice to have • Experience in automotive development • Basic programming knowledge • PCB experience • German language

What you’ll do

• Seat Wiring Harness Development: • Development of seat wiring harnesses from prototype to serial production • Alignment with customer requirements and integration into seat systems • Ensuring compliance with technical and legislative requirements
• Prototype & Test Equipment Development: • Development and assembly of prototype electrical systems (schematics, PCB, basic SW) • Building and wiring prototype test equipment (hands-on work) • Supporting prototype testing and validation in Plzeň
• Additional responsibilities: • Management of assigned projects from customer request to SOP • Creation and tracking of project plans, timelines, and deliverables • Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation • Analysis of issues, root cause identification, and support of corrective actions • Close cooperation with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams • Communication with internal customers within Lear
