Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Engineering
- 3–5+ years of experience in technical procurement or sourcing; global sourcing experience is a plus
- Demonstrated technical sourcing experience in: Electrical / electronic components (PCBs, batteries, chargers, wiring harnesses)
- Mechanical components (plastic injection molding, metal fabrication)
- Ability to assess manufacturing processes and identify design‑for‑cost opportunities
- Strong stakeholder management across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Procurement
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels
- Results‑driven with a structured, action‑oriented mindset
- Confident communicator able to facilitate cross‑functional decision‑making
- Experience working with SAP and strong analytical skills
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
What you’ll do
- Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Lead sourcing for electronic and mechanical components and finished goods following global sourcing methodology
- Define and implement 1–3 year sourcing strategies, supplier selections, contracts, and commercial terms
- Scout, assess, and technically evaluate suppliers and manufacturing processes
- Support inflation outlooks and market intelligence for key commodities
- Cost, Performance & Risk Management
- Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives meeting savings targets
- Manage pricing, contracts, and cost updates in SAP
- Monitor and drive supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost, sustainability)
- Actively manage supply risks and escalation topics
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation
- Participate in global and regional new product development (NPD) and launch projects
- Partner closely with R&D, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing on design changes, dual sourcing, and portfolio optimizations
- Support innovation by enabling supplier-led technical solutions
