Who we’re looking for
- hands-on PLC Software Engineer who enjoys working close to real technology — turning electrical designs into functional automation systems and bringing them to life in the field.
- You’ll work with PLC logic, HMI interfaces, and real industrial equipment, not just code. From configuration and programming to testing and commissioning, you’ll be part of the full lifecycle of our solutions used in railway and energy systems.
- You will also be part of an international team, collaborating on customer-specific adaptations and implementations.
What you’ll do
- Programming and configuring PLC systems (focus on logic rather than heavy coding)
- Translating electrical schematics into program logic
- Creating and adjusting basic HMI interfaces (operator touch panels)
- Performing simulations, testing, and debugging
- Providing test support , including setup and troubleshooting (PLC/HMI diagnostics, network components, software adjustments)
- Supporting commissioning, both in-house and at customer sites
- Collaborating with commissioning engineers and the wider team
- Adapting solutions based on customer requirements
- Designing, testing and adjusting communication protocols of Sécheron systems and their integration into customers SCADA systems (no deep SCADA expertise required)
