Who we’re looking for

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of CDN providers (e.g., Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly), content caching, and network fundamentals.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi .
• Networking: Proficiency in networking protocols, load balancing, and traffic management.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent trouble sho oting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Security: Understanding of security practices and ability to implement security measures.
• Development & Automation: Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Golang, Python, or TypeScript. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, an understanding of Kubernetes Operators, and interest or experience in using Nix for managing development environments .
• Growth Mindset: An enthusiasm and aptitude for learning new skills and practices, constantly keeping up with the latest developments in the relevant field.

What you’ll do

• Multi-CDN Management: Design, implement, and manage multi-CDN configurations to ensure optimal content delivery and redundancy.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor CDN performance, analy s e metrics, and trouble sho ot issues to maintain high availability and low latency.
• Edge Integration: Work with edge technologies to enhance CDN capabilities and improve user experience for global streaming services.
• API and Web Services Support: Ensure seamless integration and performance of Web and API services across multiple CDNs.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure cohesive support for streaming services.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for CDN and edge services.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of CDN configurations and provide regular performance reports.
• Support: To partake in the team support and on-call rota for services managed by the team for our multi-CDN estate and services .
