Who we’re looking for
- Fluent Czech and English.
- Experience in a broad HR Generalist, People Partner, HR Operations, or People & Culture role.
- Solid understanding of Czech employment legislation and HR practices.
- Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and payroll coordination.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with HR systems; HiBob experience would be an advantage.
What you’ll do
- Support recruitment activities, including maintaining job descriptions, participating in interviews, coordinating approvals, and assisting with salary benchmarking.
- Prepare offers, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation, ensuring a smooth candidate experience from offer acceptance through to joining.
- Manage employee records and onboarding activities across HR systems, including HiBob and recruitment integrations.
- Collect and validate employee data, right-to-work documentation, and support visa and work permit administration where required.
- Coordinate inductions, mandatory training, first-day logistics, and pre-employment screening.
- Maintain accurate records across HR, attendance, learning, and compliance systems, including statutory reporting obligations.
- Support internal mobility and career development initiatives.
- Coordinate learning activities, workshops, external training providers, and English language programmes.
- Assist with the annual performance and development cycle.
- Help shape Aevi's culture locally while acting as a role model for our values.
- Monitor employee engagement through regular check-ins, pulse surveys, and feedback initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and contribute to People projects and retention initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with employees and managers, providing first-line People support and guidance on local policies and practices.
- Partner with managers on employee relations matters, team dynamics, engagement, and performance conversations.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of People policies and processes.
- Deliver accurate and timely People administration throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Act as a key contact for employee queries relating to payroll, benefits, leave, promotions, and employment changes.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, including attendance, sickness absence, joiners, leavers, overtime, bonus payments, and salary changes.
- Prepare contract amendments, maintain employee records, support annual tax administration, and liaise with payroll providers and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with Czech employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate local health and safety activities, mandatory training, medical examinations, and related audits.
- Ensure all statutory obligations and People compliance requirements are met.
