Who we’re looking for

• Background in technical environment (e.g., Maintenance, Engineering, or similar industrial setting)
• Exposure to technical projects, including coordination or participation in delivery activities
• Basic understanding of project management principles and structured ways of working
• Awareness of risk management and change management in operational environments
• Familiarity with Lean/continuous improvement principles (e.g., 5S, SMED, PDCA, waste reduction, mistake-proofing)
• Strong coordination and communication skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset
• Drive, curiosity, and willingness to learn and develop in a technical leadership role

What you’ll do

• In this role, you will lead the Maintenance Technology team (6-7 direct reports), ensuring reliable production equipment while driving the implementation of new technologies, engineering standards, and manufacturing improvements across our Kladno factory.
• Lead technical projects and provide engineering expertise to support local manufacturing initiatives.
• Deploy and validate new machinery technologies and global engineering standards in partnership with R&D.
• Manage equipment lifecycle activities, including production line relocations, machinery transfers, and asset optimization.
• Partner with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to ensure successful implementation of new products into production.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Support manufacturing operations by providing technical guidance and effective escalation for complex equipment challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across the LEGO Group to share knowledge, align best practices, and implement global solutions.
