Who we’re looking for
- University degree in a technical field – mechanical or electrotechnical engineering (or high school with relevant experiences)
- You have knowledge in battery systems, high voltage safety, thermal management, and battery hardware design
- Fluent Czech language
- Fluent German or English language for daily communication with colleagues and suppliers from abroad. Even some of our internal meetings are led in AJ/NJ
- You are familiar with internal tools (e.g., CAD, AVON...).
- Enthusiasm for the automotive area as well as for new technological solutions
What you’ll do
- Develop and validate hardware concepts for MEB+ battery systems
- Perform laboratory of battery components
- Support hardware components from early prototype stages until start of production
- Collaborate with VW Group teams, suppliers, and external partners to align requirements and solutions
- Participate in international meetings, supplier visits, and test activities
- Representing Škoda Auto across the VW Group
About the position
In this role, you support and guide the hardware development and production readiness of next‑generation MEB+ battery systems. You ensure that hardware concepts are validated, tested, and smoothly transitioned into series production, working closely with Škoda teams, the Volkswagen Group and suppliers.
