Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in requirements management, requirements configuration control, or requirements database administration.
- Proven hands-on experience administering IBM Rational DOORS databases and repositories.
- Solid understanding of requirements traceability, compliance management, and configuration control processes.
- Experience developing DOORS scripts, templates, and import/export mechanisms.
- Experience supporting engineering teams within complex technical projects.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Eligible for PSC up to Secret
What you’ll do
- The candidate will to provide technical expertise for the administration and evolution of the requirements management environment supporting large-scale European space and satellite navigation programmes.
- The candidate will be responsible for the administration of the DOORS database, ensuring effective configuration control of requirements, maintaining requirements traceability and compliance information, supporting engineering teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of requirements management processes.
- This role requires close collaboration with institutional and industrial stakeholders involved in the requirements change-control process, including agencies, contractors, and engineering teams.
- Provide technical expertise for the definition, maintenance, and evolution of the DOORS architecture.
- Support synchronization of DOORS modules and data exchanges between multiple stakeholders participating in the requirements change-control process.
- Manage and optimize DOORS licensing and access management.
- Create, maintain, and administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the DOORS environment.
- Evaluate and support the deployment of new versions, enhancements, and evolutions of DOORS or alternative requirements management solutions.
- Maintain and execute the organization's standard Requirements Management Process within DOORS.
- Ensure proper requirements traceability across mission, service, system, and security levels.
- Monitor and maintain compliance status and associated evidence throughout the requirements lifecycle.
- Support configuration management activities related to requirements baselines and change control.
- Develop and maintain standard templates, scripts, and automated mechanisms for data import/export within DOORS.
- Support the generation of reports and controlled documentation from requirements repositories.
- Leverage IBM Publishing Engine (PUB) where applicable to improve document generation and reporting activities.
- Provide operational support and guidance to engineering teams regarding DOORS functionality and best practices.
- Promote continuous improvement of requirements management processes and tool usage.
- Assist users in troubleshooting, training, and process implementation activities.
- Import, export, and maintain programme specifications and compliance datasets within DOORS.
- Manage requirements data related to mission, service, system, and security domains.
- Support and maintain interfaces between the organization's Document Management System (DMS) and the DOORS environment.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across interconnected information systems.
