Who we’re looking for
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechatronic, mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, or an equivalent education
- You have gained a minimum of three years of professional experience, ideally including experience in pre‑commissioning
- Willingness to travel is mandatory for this role
- Good communication skills make you a strong team player, and you are also able to work independently and in a self‑driven manner
- You speak and write English fluently, good German skills are welcome
What you’ll do
- You will support proposal activities by evaluating client specifications for instrumentation
- Engineering of field instruments and control valves
- You will support the preparation of P&ID diagrams, as well as handle inquiries and conduct technical follow‑up of instrument purchase orders
- Expediting and coordination of instrument vendors
- Quality control and inspections at vendor workshops
- You will handle the engineering of field cabling and hook‑up
- Definition of installation requirements for package (skid) units and the design and specification of electric heat tracing
- Review, verification, and compilation of technical documentation
- You will be in charge of pre‑commissioning activities (e.g., loop checks) on construction sites
- In the office you will be responsible for engineering of instrumentation of PSA-, TSA- and membrane units. On sites you are responsible for the precommissioning activities.
