Who we’re looking for
- Experience : Minimum 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Language Skills : Fluency in Czech and English is required.
- HR Knowledge : Strong understanding of Czech labor laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices.
- Technology : Experience with HR software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and payroll systems.
- Soft Skills : Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Work Environment : Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing plant
What you’ll do
- Act as the primary HR contact for plant employees, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Organize and support employee events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Asssit Plant Managers with employee relations issues, disciplinaries, grievance etc.
- Work with HR Director to ensure timely communications
- Assist in recruiting skilled workers and professionals for the plant, coordinating with hiring managers.
- Conduct interviews, screen candidates, and manage the hiring process.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
- Regularly liase with agencies, review turnover and implement best practices
- Support training programs for employees, including safety, compliance, and professional development.
- Work with department managers to identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities.
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with required certifications.
- Ensure compliance with Czech labor laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations and applicable quality standards.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures as per legal and corporate requirements.
- Handle employee documentation, contracts, and HR reporting in accordance with legal standards.
- Manage relations with any relevent unions
- Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate employee data and attendance tracking.
- Administer employee benefits, including medical, pension, and leave management.
- Assist employees with payroll and benefits-related inquiries.
- Assist managers with performance evaluations and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
- Monitor probation periods and provide feedback for employee development.
- Ensure a fair and consistent approach to performance management and disciplinary procedures
- Ensure all HRIS’ and CVG Company systems are kept up to date
- Complete relevent reports in a timely manner (headcount, health disadvantages, Labour Office)
- Assist HSE Officer with setting and monintoring saety standards and reporting to HSE Director
- Assist with translations
- Monitor and provide solutions and actions to improve absence rates with HR Director
