Who we’re looking for
- University degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic contracting, account management, pricing, market access, procurement, commercial operations, or a related field.
- Leadership experience managing teams, cross-functional projects, or key strategic accounts.
- Strong background in contract negotiation, deal structuring, customer/account strategy, and financial acumen.
- Experience working with senior internal stakeholders and external customers or partners.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, retention, or contract value.
- Knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical environment.
- Understanding of how global events can impact the organization’s plans, mission, strategies, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Good computer skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and Czech.
What you’ll do
- Lead strategic contracting efforts for major accounts and customer segments, including budget oversight and staff development.
- Anticipate and monitor contracting and tendering activity across key accounts.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, Market Access, Supply Chain, and other relevant teams.
- Develop and manage account strategies for high-priority customers.
- Monitor contract performance, business impact, and renewal opportunities.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and market trends that influence account and contract strategy.
- Contribute actively to KAM team planning processes to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
- Present recommendations and business updates to senior leadership.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to drive strong execution and accountability.
- Report adverse drug events in accordance with applicable legislation and AbbVie policies.
- Model AbbVie WWW behaviors and support the Brand Team matrix to deliver high-quality strategy and execution across all assigned brands.
- Coach and develop top talent, set goals, conduct succession planning, and manage performance to align people performance with business goals, KPIs, and growth opportunities.
- Represent AbbVie to external stakeholders as a patient-centric and trusted healthcare partner, helping to build a strong and sustainable AbbVie brand image.
