Who we’re looking for
- Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Recent graduate or candidate with initial internship or first professional experience in industrial processes, waste treatment, energy, or environmental engineering.
- Strong interest in anaerobic digestion, waste-to-energy, renewable gas, and environmental technologies.
- High motivation to develop deep technical expertise within an international group.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong in communication skills . Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams, engineering specialists, and innovation experts.
- Willingness to work in an international mobility role, with an initial assignment in the Czech Republic and a subsequent move to Poland.
- Fluent in English; Czech and/or Polish language skills would be a strong advantage.
What you’ll do
- Develop practical and technical expertise in anaerobic digestion operations through on-site exposure at APBB in Benešov.
- Support the strengthening of local technical expertise and management capabilities in line with SUEZ’s Waste-to-Energy development ambitions.
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of key development projects around the Czech Republic.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and technical specialists to support engineering, development, and project delivery activities.
- Participate in the transfer of know-how from external experts and partners, while helping to build in-house expertise in cooperation with SUEZ departments such as Engineering & Construction and the Innovation Center.
- Develop into a Czech-speaking technical resource capable of supporting local operations and project execution.
- Support the development of SUEZ’s anaerobic digestion activities at ARA in Legnica and in future Polish projects.
- Contribute to the implementation of the innovative solutions developed by SUEZ for anaerobic digestion facilities, including BioWad.
- Support process adaptation and optimization activities.
- Help define and implement technical performance improvement action plans in collaboration with other Suez entities experts.
- Identify and characterize feedstock to support process efficiency and stability.
- Contribute to process performance monitoring and operational excellence initiatives.
- Support the potential retrofit of existing operational assets and the development of future anaerobic digestion facilities in Poland.

Through this program, participants benefit from the transfer of SUEZ technical skills and know-how in a structured development environment. The program is managed by the Innovation Department in partnership with the Human Resources teams of the Business Units.
