Who we’re looking for
- 4+ years of hands-on experience administering NetSuite, including workflows, roles and permissions, custom records, saved searches, and system configuration; NetSuite Administrator Certification is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of core finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience owning and improving integrations between ERP, billing, spend management, and payment platforms, with the ability to investigate data issues and drive root-cause resolution.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions, automation, and process improvements while balancing control, efficiency, and user experience.
- Comfortable working with APIs, structured data, and technical teams; able to review integration logic, troubleshoot data flows, and support system enhancements.
- Experience in a SaaS environment, ideally supporting subscription billing and quote-to-cash processes, combined with a proactive, hands-on approach and strong stakeholder management skills.
What you’ll do
- You will own and evolve our finance systems ecosystem, with NetSuite at its core and integrations across key platforms including Chargebee, Yokoy, Pliant, and others. As the internal owner of our finance applications landscape, you will ensure data integrity across systems, drive automation, strengthen financial controls, and enable scalable finance operations.
- This is a newly created role with significant ownership from day one. You will serve as the bridge between Finance, Business Operations, and Technology, ensuring our systems support efficient processes, reliable reporting, and future growth. As we transition away from external support, you will become the in-house expert and trusted partner for all finance systems matters.
- Own and administer NetSuite end-to-end: configuration, workflows, custom records, saved searches, user roles, and permissions — with strong internal controls and segregation of duties maintained at all times.
- Manage integrations between NetSuite and connected platforms (Chargebee, Yokoy, Pliant, and others) ensuring data flows accurately and consistently across the ecosystem.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and manual workarounds, replacing them with automated, scalable solutions.
- Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to support and optimise key processes — billing/AR, AP, GL, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert for finance systems: user support, training, documentation, and best practice guidance.
- Own the finance systems roadmap, translating business requirements into system enhancements and driving continuous improvement as the company grows.
