Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in export control, trade compliance, customs, or sanctions compliance
- Knowledge of: EU Dual-Use Regulation
- Czech customs/export laws
- US export regulations (EAR) is an advantage
- Sanctions programs (EU, OFAC, UN)
- Experience with export documentation and customs procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Fluent English required; Czech language strongly preferred
What you’ll do
- Ensure compliance with Czech Republic, EU, US, and international export control regulations and sanctions laws
- Review and approve export transactions, documentation, and shipping activities
- Conduct restricted party screening and end-user/end-use checks
- Review products, software, and technology classification under export control regulations
- Support export license applications and maintain related documentation
- Monitor changes in trade regulations and communicate impacts to business stakeholders
- Develop and maintain export compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments related to export compliance
- Investigate potential compliance violations and support corrective actions
- Deliver export control training to employees and business partners
- Collaborate with logistics, legal, procurement, engineering, and sales teams
- Maintain accurate compliance records according to regulatory requirements
