Who we’re looking for

• University degree in Engineering field with IT/programming background
• Knowledge of programming in C, Python
• Knowledge of embedded systems and communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, etc.
• Proficient in the English language, as you will be in regular communication with international colleagues

What you’ll do

• Development of real-time embedded software for aircraft controllers (actuation, life support and environmental control systems) using C and Python languages.
• Participation in all stages of software development: requirements definition, design, coding, testing, and documentation of the software in accordance with aerospace guidelines.
• Development of supporting tools.

About the position

We’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our Control Systems team at Honeywell Aerospace in Brno. Our software team develops in-house, end-to-end embedded software for safety-critical aerospace systems, including our own electromechanical actuators, life support systems, and environmental control systems. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to bring next‑gen aviation technology to life. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
