Who we’re looking for

• Ideally at least 10 years of professional experience in the field
• Authorization in the field of Building Services Engineering – Electrical Installations
• Good knowledge of applicable technical standards, regulations and industry standards in the field of electrical installations
• Ability to read and evaluate project and operational documentation
• Analytical thinking and ability to identify technical risks
• Strong communication skills when dealing with the project team, contractor and client
• Independent, responsible and detail-oriented approach
• Knowledge of technical English.
• Proficiency in Czech (minimum B2 level).
• Right to work in the Czech Republic.
• Secondary school or university degree in Electrical Engineering

What you’ll do

• Ongoing quality control of electrical installation works and materials used during construction
• Checking compliance of the works with approved project documentation, applicable technical standards, regulations and the contract for work
• Cooperation with the project designer, author’s supervision, project manager and other members of the project team
• Participation in pre-handover inspections, handovers, partial tests and site meetings according to the project manager’s requirements
• Monitoring the removal of defects and unfinished works
• Checking whether the contractor performs the required material and work tests, including review and evaluation of test results
• Monitoring the progress of works in relation to the contract for work and the construction schedule
• Timely notification of the investor / project manager of any risks that may affect partial or final construction deadlines
• Review and assessment of the scope of additional or changed works compared to the contract for work
• Preparation of photographic documentation of electrical installations during construction
• Preparation of weekly or monthly construction progress reports according to the project manager’s requirements
• Technical assessment of buildings and projects within Technical Due Diligence, with a focus on electrical installations
• Assessment of the condition and quality level of electrical installations based on project and operational documentation and site inspections
• Identification of defects, technical risks, deficiencies and non-compliance with standards, technical requirements and client expectations
• Preparation of qualified cost estimates for the removal of identified defects and technical deficiencies
• Preparation of expert input and supporting materials for client reports
