Who we’re looking for

• University degree in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering
• Position is also suitable for graduates and PhD
• Experience with analytical instruments is an advantage (SEM, EBSD, XRD, Alicona, etc.)
• Experience in project leadership and management is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and continuously develop
• Creativity, independence, and proactive mindset
• Knowledge of the Dormer Pramet product portfolio is an advantage
• Hight level of English language at a communicative level
• PC skills – MS Office at user level

What you’ll do

• Development and optimization of wet and dry blasting technologies for cemented carbide products
• Primary focus on cutting-edge and surface preparation of indexable inserts before and after coating
• Development and market implementation of new cemented carbide cutting grades
• Operation of analytical instruments
• Independent management of selected R&D projects
• Cooperation with process engineers on the development of new manufacturing technologies
• Creation of technological procedures and standards
• Participation in the definition, FAT/SAT and implementation of new production machines
• Active involvement in the international technology team of Sandvik Machining, participation in joint projects and technical meetings
